MELON FIRE
This project was a fun challenge centered on designing a weapon that could plausibly exist within a cyberpunk setting.
At the time, I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt and was captivated by its vibrant world-building, bold visual language, and industrial aesthetic. Inspired by the game's design philosophy, I wanted to create my own weapon concept that felt as though it could naturally inhabit a similar universe while still reflecting my personal design style.
Unlike many of my other projects, this design process was intentionally more organic and exploratory. Rather than beginning with pages of sketches, I jumped directly into Blender and allowed the modeling process to guide the design. As the form evolved, I refined details through iteration, treating the model itself as a sketching tool. Once the design was complete, I used Procreate to create custom decals and assemble the final presentation board shown below.
